I've been photographing people since 2011 and somewhere along the way earned a Bachelor of Creative Arts majoring in Photography.

But after all these years, the biggest thing I've learnt is that the best photos usually happen when everyone stops trying so bloody hard to get a good photo.

I don't expect perfectly behaved kids.

You don't need to know what to do with your hands.

And if things go a little pear-shaped? That's usually where the good stuff is.

I'll guide you when you need it, settle your baby when you need a minute and probably make a fool of myself trying to win over your toddler.

Because yes, I want you to have beautiful photos.

But mostly, I want you to look back at them and remember exactly what this version of your family felt like.
